All Kindergarten students received a welcome to school gift from the HCT. The package included a Pete the Cat book, an HCT mood pencil and ruler, a Cat in the Hat bookmark, and a letter to new parents from HCT president Joan Deem. Students in the Bilingual program received a book in both English and Spanish. This gift was made possible through funding provided by the HCT's Local Action Project (LAP) grant.
