Building reps from each of the nine school buildings met on Tuesday, August 28th, at the NYSUT office in Woodbury to discuss important issues facing our teachers this year. The Board of Directors discussed unionism in the post-Janus era, new representative training, and expectations for the year ahead.
This year, the HCT will participate in AFT's Teacher-Leader Program(represented by Stephanie Sullo and others), establish a New/Early Career Member Committee and continue to affect social change in our community.
