Over the summer the HCT Board of Directors met to begin planning for the upcoming school year. Building representatives reviewed responsibilities and important information regarding their positions in our union. Our 2015-2016 calendar of events and important meeting dates werereviewed with an emphasis on providing a wide variety of activities to appeal to our vast membership. Training dates for new building reps were established and will be held throughout the year with presentations by NYSUT Labor Relations Specialist, Peter Lanzo, Joan Deem, HCT President and Tom Glenn, HCT 1st Vice President. This year all monthly HCT Board of Directors meetings will be held in the HCT office at 183 Broadway, Hicksville.
